Admission Process

Admission to the Institute is done through centralized admission procedure by Joint Admission Committee for Professional Courses(JACPC), Ahmedabad. For more information visit

Step 1: Check Eligibility

  • Any one of the following criteria must be satisfied

Step 2: Prepare Documents

  • For all : HSC Marksheet, GUJCET Result,JEE Result(Not compulsory),Leaving Certificate
  • Reserve Category : Caste Certificate NCL is mandatory in case of OBC (Income is below Rs. 6,00,000/year.)
  • TFWS : Income Certificate (Income is below Rs. 6,00,000/year)
  • UEWC (Unreserved Economically Weaker Class) : 10% reservation, No financial aid (Income is below Rs. 6,00,000/year.)

Step 3: Buy PIN & Booklet

  • From kotak mahindra bank, Form Fee is Rs. 350/-
  • Date of Admission Form Distribution will be announced soon by ACPC

Step 4: Register Online

  • Register Online at from Home or nearest Help Centre
  • Be aware of Key-Logger Software which stores your username and password

Step 5: Submit Documents @ Help Centre

  • If you belong to Open Category and don’t want to take benefit of TFWS or UEWC then no need to go to Help Centre
  • Submit Xerox copy of documents at nearest Help Centre if you want to take benefit of any of the following TFWS, UEWC or Reserve Category
  • Don’t submit original documents

Step 6: Finalize College & Branch

Step 7: Choice Filling

  • Mock Round
    • First round is Mock Round.
    • This is practice round. Just for an idea.
    • This admission cannot be confirmed.
  • Round 1
    • Take utmost care for choice filling.
    • Admission allotted in this round should be confirmed.

Step 8: Confirm Admission

Print Bank Challan & Admission Slip from your Login
  • For SFI : Deposit Rs. 20,000 in Dena Bank
  • For Boys in Government College : Deposit Rs. 1,000
  • For TFWS or Girls in Government College : No need to deposit money in the Bank. Just accept admission in your login.
If you don’t accept this admission then it will not be given in next round even though seats remain vacant.

Step 9: Participate in Reshuffling Round

  • Now, you have one admission of Round-1
  • If you want better choice then you should participate in Round-2 (Reshuffling Round)
  • You can add/alter/delete any number of choices
  • Keep only those choices where you definitely want to go
  • If you get admission in Reshuffling Round then admission of Round-1 will be cancelled automatically
  • If you don’t get admission in Reshuffling Round then admission of Round-1 remains continued

Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS)

  • Under TFW scheme, students do not have to pay tuition fee in SFI.
  • 5% of total seats shall be filled by TFW scheme, e.g. 60 seats then 3 seats shall be filled by TFWS.
  • Students whose parent's income is less than Rs. 6 lakh/annum are eligible for TFWS.
  • Admission is strictly on merit number through admission committee.
  • TFW scheme shall be applicable for complete duration of the course(4 Years).
  • To get the benefits of TFW Scheme, the candidate has to submit the income certificate issued after 31st March from either 'Mamlatdar' or ''Taluka Development Officer (TDO)' or 'Collector(Jan Seva Kendra)' at the time of application form filling(registration for admission).
  • No other document shall be considered valid(e.g. Income tax return, Certificate issued by 'Sarpanch').

Education Loan

Students can avail the Loan facility from any public sector or private sector banks.

Different banks have different norms & policies but in general:

  • Maximum loan amount can be 15 Lakh Rs.
  • No Guarantee or collateral security required for loan upto 5 lakh Rs.
  • Repayments will start after 1 year of course completion or 6 months of a job (whichever is earlier).
  • Avail of tax rebates for the interest on an education loan under Section 80-E of the Income Tax-Act 1961.
  • The student loan will be disbursed in full or in suitable installments taking into account the requirement of funds and/or fee schedule assessed by the Bank directly to the educational institution.
